NEJM wins at AIGA’s “Best of New England” 2003

NEJM Masthead

The redesign of the New England Journal of Medicine has taken top honors at the AIGA’s “Best of New England” (BoNE) show, honoring great work done by New England-based design firms. NEJM is the largest and most important medical journal in the world. Lasting over 18 months, the project was technically challenging because of scientific content, worldwide printing, and advertising versus scholarship issues.
Design firms: Winterhouse and Pentagram. Art directors: William Drenttel and Michael Bierut.
