  NYC2012

Following the release of its 800-page logistical plan, NYC2012, the organization coordinating New York City's Olympic bid, commissioned us to write and design a brochure that would inspire the International Olympic Committee's delegates and showcase the city's enthusiasm for hosting the games. The brochure took its verbal cues from the reverent language of the Olympic Charter and combined a heroic scale with black-and-white photographs to convey the vision of a more peaceful world through sport. The brochure's understated design, along with 14 of its memorable headlines, were then used by NYC2012 in a city-wide advertising campaign seen by millions of people in the first half of 2005.
In collaboration with Charles Hall. Creative Director: Brian Collins for BIG, Ogilvy. Design Director for NYC2012: Jennifer Kinon.
